Holi is the festival
of colors and happily celebrated by Hindus all over the
world. It is observed on full moon day of the Phagun month
of Hindu calendar. Holi is recognized as a second biggest
festival in Hindu calendar after Diwali. It is united with love and

the ceremony known as the Holika Dahan. The next day is
known as Rangwali Holi - the day when people play with dry
and wet colors and applying colours to each other powder and
colored water. Rangwali Holi, which is main Holi day, is
also known as Dhulandi or Dhulendi (धुलण्डी).
